Why it was flagged. Taking the day cab off means recovering and recharging the A/C and draining and refilling the cooling system. Neither was on the estimate.
Why it was flagged. The roof panel and right cab side are replaced, so the wiring has to be moved clear, protected and routed back into place. No line covered it.
Why it was flagged. Several structural cab pieces are replaced, and the cab is held together with Huck bolts and rivets. The fasteners were not on the estimate.
Why it was flagged. The windshield, roof panel, cowl top and pillar are replaced. Freightliner gives a specific cab water-leak test for this repair.
Why it was flagged. Both headlamps come out for the hood and front-panel work. Aiming them afterward is its own operation, not part of the hood time.

The math

How many heavy-duty estimates do you write each month?

40
5200

40 estimates × $1,300 identified = $52,000 a month

Truck Hero$549/mo
One strong estimate can cover the month.

Based on $1,300 identified per estimate. Identified is not guaranteed revenue. Your estimator decides what is added, and results vary by shop and vehicle mix.
